Reconnect Retreat: Creativity
A rural yoga retreat centered on connection to self, creativity, nature and community in the beautiful Upper Peninsula.
Yoga & Meditation
Each day offers space for yoga and meditation, led by our experienced guides, Allison and Brigitte.
We’ll begin the mornings with all-levels movement to help you wake up and settle in. In the evenings, return to your mat for restorative sessions—slow, grounding practices designed to unwind and integrate the day. All classes take place in the woodsy comfort of the Pinecrest Lodge, and are for everyone, whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner.
Nourish, Create, Connect
Fuel your body with vibrant, seasonal meals prepared by Chef Bryan of Moonlight Meadows. Tap into your creative side through hands-on workshops led by Pinecrest host and art educator Madi, alongside local artist and musician Mavis Farr of Mineral Spirit Jewelry.
Deepen your connection to the natural world with a field notes practice—an invitation to listen, reflect, and learn from the land itself—guided by returning guest speaker Dr. Michelle Seguin.
Nature & Community
Between guided sessions, you’ll have plenty of downtime to unwind and explore. Take a solo walk in the woods, journal by the river, warm up in the sauna, or cool off with a dip in the lake.
Whether you’re craving quiet reflection or spontaneous connection, this time is yours. Perfect for deepening friendships, resting in your cabin nook, or simply soaking in the peace of the Northwoods.

Settle into your own room and enjoy the balance of retreat and community in our shared cabins. Most rooms offer true privacy, but a couple have their quirks: one includes both a full and a twin bed* (great for a duo!), and another requires guests in the adjoining twin space to pass through (perfect for friends who want to connect but still have a space to themselves.) It’s all part of the cozy, cabin charm—and we’ll make sure you know exactly what to expect when booking.

Perfect for two friends looking for separate beds, a cozy vibe, and a budget-friendly stay. (Last year, Allison & Brigitte called it home—and said it felt like a treehouse slumber party!)

FAQ’s
-
We’re taking a Hotwire-style approach to room assignments: you’ll choose your preferred style of lodging (Private Cabin, Single Room in Shared Cabin, etc.), and we’ll handle the rest!
To keep things smooth, we assign the exact room based on availability, compatibility, and retreat needs—but rest assured, you’ll never be paired with another guest in a room or bed unless you’ve requested it. Want to bunk with a buddy? Just let us know and we’ll make it happen.
-
Each day begins slowly, with coffee, tea, and light morning snacks available in your cabin. Ease into the day with optional morning yoga, followed by a hearty group brunch around 10.
Afternoons are yours to enjoy—whether you're resting, reading, exploring the woods, or joining a creative or seasonal group activity (think: art, gardening, or nature walks).
Evenings bring us back together for a shared dinner, and for those who wish, we wind down with gentle, restorative yoga by candlelight.
